RACHEL NELSON
Executive Director
Rachel was first introduced to NeighborLink in Fort Wayne, IN and was excited when a version was started in Indianapolis. She joined the Indianapolis team first as a volunteer for communications, then as a board member, next as a staff member and finally into her current role of Executive Director.
JONATHAN GROVES
Director, Operations
Jonathan came on board as the Director of Operations in early 2021. He's the one organizing the who, what, when, where that helps take down that to-do list of projects. In addition to working with NeighborLink Indianapolis, you'll also find him at New Circle Church as their Pastor of Community Groups.
HAILEY ZUERCHER
Admin & Development Coordinator
Hailey is a recent graduate of Marian University with a degree in finance and a minor in accounting and communications. She is a ready advocate for those in need and is great a jumping in and lending a helping hand. When she's not volunteering or working, she's usually found outdoors or petting a dog.
TOM HAWKINS
Board Member, VP Officer
Tom was recruited in 2014 after retiring from a career in the Defense Electronics field. As an avid DIY-er, Tom was able to apply the skills he had learned over the years to help those served. Tom used his management experience to help establish our operational approach as well as working on individual projects. In his spare time, Tom likes to stay active on his bike in good weather and on the slopes in the snowy months.
JEANETTE JEFFERIS
Citations Manager, Board Member
Jeanette was recruited in 2014 and was able to bring her skills as a retired nurse and social worker who had worked with seniors. Jeanette found her niche with the home repair projects, leading teams of regular volunteers to help clear citation cases involving exterior paint. In addition to helping NeighborLink, Jeanette enjoys gardening, traveling and reading. She encourages volunteering with any opportunity that grabs you.
DAVE WITHEY
Founder, Board Member, Advisor
Dave saw a need and worked to fill a need. After retiring from a career in Information Technology at Eli Lilly, Dave started NeighborLink Indianapolis and being the sole handyman, volunteer and supporter to building the organization as it stands today serving hundreds of senior homeowners in Indianapolis.
