DAVE WITHEY
Executive Director, Board Chair, Founder
Dave saw a need and worked to fill a need. After retiring from a career in Information Technology at Eli Lilly, Dave started NeighborLink Indianapolis and being the sole handyman, volunteer and supporter to building the organization as it stands today serving hundreds of senior homeowners in Indianapolis.
TOM HAWKINS
Director of Operations, Board Member, VP Officer
Tom was recruited in 2014 after retiring from a career in the Defense Electronics field. As an avid DIY-er, Tom was able to apply the skills he had learned over the years to help those served. Tom used his management experience to help establish our operational approach as well as working on individual projects. In his spare time, Tom likes to stay active on his bike in good weather and on the slopes in the snowy months.
JEANETTE JEFFERIS
Citations Manager, Board Member
Jeanette was recruited in 2014 and was able to bring her skills as a retired nurse and social worker who had worked with seniors. Jeanette found her niche with the home repair projects, leading teams of regular volunteers to help clear citation cases involving exterior paint. In addition to helping NeighborLink, Jeanette enjoys gardening, traveling and reading. She encourages volunteering with any opportunity that grabs you.
RACHEL NELSON
Director, External Affairs & Communications
Rachel was first introduced to NeighborLink in Fort Wayne, IN and was excited when a version was started in Indianapolis. She joined the Indianapolis team first as a volunteer for communications, next as a board member and finally as staff member.
LISA COLE
Director, Community & Partner Engagement
Lisa joins the NeighborLink Indianapolis team most recently from the Medical Benevolence Foundation and global medical missions work. Her focus is to strengthen and expand our volunteer engagement efforts, including developing strategic partnerships with businesses, schools, faith and other community-based organizations and help them connect to their communities through our mission.
