Endowment Campaign
In celebration of our 10th year the NeighborLink Indianapolis Board of Directors is launching an endowment campaign for 2023!
NeighborLink Indianapolis Foundation strives to be a resource within the community, serving homeowners who fall between the proverbial cracks more often than not. Older adults who have long-since helped build their own communities, individuals with disabilities who have barrier upon barrier in the way of their success, both own homes they have strong connections to. Neither would find affordable housing should they be forced from their home. It is for our homeowners we aim to remain and walk alongside in their desire to age-in-place for years to come.
The Board of Directors for NeighborLink Indianapolis want to take a strong step toward longevity by funding a board-driven endowment campaign for the organization. The goal is to raise $25,000 before December 31, 2023. The more they raise, the more we're able to invest up front for the long-term sustainability of our organization.
What is an "Endowment?"
In short, a plan for the future. Endowments are long-term investments in an organization. The proceeds of an endowment campaign, unlike others, do not go into programs or operations—in fact, they aren't intended to be touched by the organization. Instead, the earnings from those proceeds are what help to support the organization over the course of time. By helping to establish this long-term investment tool you're indicating your support and belief that what we do is important enough to stick around for the next 10, 20, and beyond years. It is a financial expression of the passions and beliefs you hold and for the mission you want to see succeed.
